ABOUT RYAN

At the age of 10, Ryan Flournoy lost his vision, but that didn’t stop him from pursuing the vision God gave him for his purpose and passion in radio, music and voice over work.

Ryan’s career started in his sophomore year in High School when he enrolled in the Communication Arts Program at Saddleback College. After finishing the courses, Ryan auditioned for KSBR radio station and enjoyed 14 years of being an on air talent. He ran a live show called, “Healthy Tips for Today’s Lifestyle,” along with airing Live Remotes with KSBR at different Community Events and assisting with the annual Birthday Bash Jazz Concerts. Wanting to expand his training with his voice over talent, Ryan attended Del Mar Media of Arts Production Company and was trained by Bud Barth, known as the voice of the famous cartoon character, “Fred Flintstone.” Ryan’s past experience in voice over work includes: Children’s audio books: “Ten Commandments” by The Word for Today, “The Flight to Suez,” Jonathan Park series by Vision Forum.   He has produced a video training presentation for “Artist Board Company,” located in Italy with Voice 123. He has also done Disney Character presentations with voice over and music for different pre-schools in his community.

Along with his music abilities, Ryan has attended two different music schools: Calvary Chapel School of Worship and United Pursuit School of Worship. He has played the keyboard and has done vocals for over 24 years at different venues. He has had the opportunity to play and sing Jazz music for different Senior Centers as well. He has done the Seth Riggs Voice training program and was a part of a CD release “Solution Live: Your Great Love” (Keyboard Player). Ryan is currently leading worship at two different Churches in his community.

In Ryan’s spare time he enjoys hanging out with his family, going on vacations, reading, writing radio dramas, playing keyboard and working out. With the intent of finding more work, he has recently finished recording three new voice -over demos with Rick Sherman Studio Productions. The new demos include: Commercials, Narrations and Children’s Audio Dramas. Currently, doors are opening up for Ryan to share his testimony and how he has overcome living life without his eyesight.
